Todays article says the AD blames Hollywoods values and procedures. He didn't follow Hollywoods procedures. He went outside of the state and used non-union labor to circumvent those procedures and cut costs. So it's Hollywoods fault. Not the armorer. Not the AD. Certainly not the trigger man, Alec. It's everybody and it's nobody. Let's just get on with our lives like it never happened.
if Alec had taken a NRA gun safety course, this could have been prevented.

There were thousands of rounds fired with ground charges and cannon fire on the three sets of North and South and no one was injured. Safety was of the utmost importance with actors and reenactors following the rules. It was filmed in Mississippi also.
