(FORUM) When the Covid-19 vaccines don't work, is it proof that they work?

But an odd public narrative has taken hold among some in the media, and among some public health officials.

The more the Covid-19 vaccines don't do the job we hoped they'd do-- the more some people insist it's proof they are working and that more people need to get them.

When somebody, like Colin Powell, dies of Covid-19 after being fully-vaccinated, these people insist that's proof the vaccine works and that it shows more people need to get vaccinated to save people like Colin Powell.

This makes no logical sense.

When vaccinated people by the thousands get sick from Delta variant or some other form of Covid, it is claimed, without evidence, that they would have been sicker if they hadn't gotten vaccinated. (In fact, scientists say, most unvaccinated people who get Covid will have cases that are mild or without symptoms.) It's impossible to know whether a vaccinated person who's sick was made better off by vaccination.

When CDC and other institutions discovery Covid-19 is routinely carried and spread by the fully-vaccinated, these people insist that's all the more reason for more people to get vaccinated.

Those working to ignore natural immunity and promote the vaccine industry at all costs know the answer they want to have before the question is asked. Therefore, every question and problem raised-- yields the same reply, no matter how ludicrous:

"This proves the vaccine works and more people need to get it."

Thoughts?

Covid-19 deaths are running about double what they were last year when NO ONE was vaccinated. That shouldn’t be. Blaming the unvaccinated doesn’t account for the facts.

“(FORUM) When the Covid-19 vaccines don’t work, is it proof that they work?”

When the Covid-19 experts speak, is it proof that they are clueless?

There, fixed it

"When the Covid-19 vaccines don't work, is it proof that they work?"

No it's proof of being a useful idiot.

"You can give 100 million people an aspirin tablet and within 24 hours at least a couple of hundred of them (if not more) will be dead. And a few of those deaths just might be due to the aspirin itself."

And most of the dead will be people of the same age and with the same co-morbidities associated with the vast majority of Covid deaths.

What happens after long periods of time is still completely unknown. That’s where caution should be taken. You can’t undo the shot once injected.

Truth died in March 2020. The narrative was controlled from the start. We were told things to scare us, then to control us. We were fed little bits of hope, which were then dashed.

“A few flakes of virus in the nose” was a “case.” “Two weeks to flatten the curve” became “19 months to identify the dissenters.”

“Experimental” vaccine became “You are hereby mandated to get jabbed or you’re fired and blocked from entering public buildings.”

“Masks don’t work” became “no mask, get arrested, or yelled at by little nazis.”

“Trump’s bad vaccine” became “biden’s excellent vaccine.”

Didn't Israel (super high vaccination rate) claim the efficacy rate they experienced (something like 39%) was no where near the claimed efficacy rate (by drug makers in clinical trials) of 96.5%. Plus with no long term tests. We are still at the mercy of extrapolation of short term clinical results from entities with a built-in conflict of interest.

An arbitrary decision is one made without regard for the facts and circumstances presented, and it connotes a disregard of the evidence.

Fact - the unvaccinated can get Covid (witness the numbers of people who are not vaccinated who are hospitalized with Covid.)
Fact - the vaccinated can also get Covid (witness the numbers of people who are vaccinated who are hospitalized with Covid.)

To use the vaccinated vs unvaccinated as a point of distinction is de-facto arbitrary. Remember a distinction without a difference is irrelevant.

The vaccines degrade the immune system, they don’t augment it.

So this is quite a story... Newmarket is a small city about an hour north of Toronto. If you are over age 50, you can join one of the ‘old-timer’ hockey clubs where they play 3 on 3 hockey. There were four teams with 8 players and the stipulation is that everyone is ‘fully vaxxed’.

The league just resumed play on Sept. 27 after being down since March of 2020. In the first week of October, there were reports of a few of the players coming down sick and by October 8, 15 were confirmed WuFlu cases. In the end, it was severe enough that 10 of the players were bedridden and on October 21, one of them died.

Makes one wonder what the results would have been if no one was vaxxed... it’s hard to imagine could have been worse.

I don't believe this is true in reality but those cooking the books are destroying their own narrative that the vax works.

Absolutely. “If you dont get the vax you are fired, trust me it works, we hope” argument doesn’t suffice.

Wrong. The defense of vaccines surrounding Powell’s death centers around the fact that Powell had cancer and was probably the person most vulnerable to COVID infection on the planet. Nobody said that no one who gets a vaccine will get covid. The vaccines have effectiveness rates between 70% and 96% depending on the vaccine. Most of the vaccines have the added benefit that, if infected, the victim stands a far superior chance of surviving. Powell had such a weakened countenance that even these benefits couldn’t help him. THESE are the arguments surrounding Powell’s death, not that his vaccination made any difference to him in the end.

‘Course there is the fact that Powell caught COVID from someone who came in contact with him, and the chances are much higher than not that that person was unvaccinated. In that instance, yes, it would be better if everyone was vaccinated.

It’s just a fact. There, pile on. Nobody here is forcing you to care about other people.

I remember this summer in the Cape (Mass) , Provincetown there was a breakthrough outbreak and indeed , our fine Republican governor said.... even though few hundred or so vaccinated folks got covid ,this was “proof” the vax worked. Because it wasnt a thousand or whatever it was a success...without any kind of data to prove they were any better off with the vax at all...or what portion of unvaxxed people fell ill from the outbreak in relation to the vaxxed.

So just remember any failure you ever may have....just say its a success because it couldve been an even greater failure.

You have a right to your opinion but not to your own facts. What you offered is pure opinion.
