Novavax Inc (NVAX.O) and partner Serum Institute of India said on Monday they received emergency use authorization for their COVID-19 vaccine in Indonesia, making it the first approval anywhere in the world for Novavax.

New Lancet Study From Sweden [Oct 2021] Shows Vaccine Effectiveness Against Infection Dropping to Zero and Sharp Decline Against Severe Disease As Well

“… a new study from Sweden has appeared that brings tidings from the other reality – the one where high observed levels of spread among the vaccinated translate to a decline to zero vaccine efficacy within months.
The study (a Lancet pre-print) finds that Pfizer vaccine effectiveness wanes from 92% at day 15-30 to 47% at day 121-180, and from day 211 (seven months) and onwards “no effectiveness could be detected”.
For AstraZeneca, vaccine effectiveness “was generally lower and waned faster, with no effectiveness detected from day 121 [four months] and onwards”. (The figure they found was actually negative, minus-19%.)
While effectiveness against severe outcomes held up for many groups over nine months, it was found to wane significantly among men, older frail people, and people with comorbidities, contributing to an overall fall from 89% at day 15-30 to 42% from day 181 (six months) and onwards, with a number of subgroups even showing negative efficacy against severe outcomes.

If we already have an approved vaccine, why is anything else being approved for emergency use?
It was approved for Emergency Use in Indonesia, not the USA.
I believe that Novavax vaccine is NOT a mNRA vaccine.
Why are you against other companies developing a vaccine?

I’m not against anyone developing alternate vaccines. If we are lucky someone will make one that actually works.

That is the way I look at it too.
There was discussion of this particular vaccine a few months back. That this may be the one that people concerned with the mNRA issues might actually want to consider taking.
All of these vaccines need to get some time in use to find out what the side effects will be(blood clots, etc) before they are given to everyone.
That's a shame if true. I had read earlier that it was developed from death moths, for whom I don't feel much empathy.
The fetal cells used are clones that are generations and generations removed from the original fetus. They are used because the effects on human cells are a better indication of effectiveness than on chicken embryos as was prior practice.
That any fetal cells were used at all is wrong. However one can prolly make an argument that if one needs to get vaxxed in order to receive med treatment for other issues or to visit loved ones in the hospital then this might be an acceptable compromise.

So. Where did those cells come from? (answer: DEAD BABIES)
This was happening at a time when 100% of Americans were guaranteed that abortions were safe (not for the baby)and rare, and the fact that individual human parts down to the cellular level were being auctioned off to the highest bidder. Now kidneys, livers, hearts and specific brain chemicals are specifically harvested from babies that are doomed to death a few moments later. It makes me feel no more secure knowing that these particular cells are multiple generations away from their original cells.
Unless you are going to by stock in the company it probably doesn’t matter as it looks like the target audience is in the third world and won’t be coming to the US anytime soon.
If this is restricted to the turd wurld then it is another reason to believe that it’s all about the money and not about our health.
As long as there is a SINGLE EUA vaccine, there is no approved vaccine. Federal law requires the withdrawl of all EUA as soon as one treatment is approved.
We seem to be living in a truly vampiric culture where those who have no hope for a life in heaven attempt to stave off death by sucking the life out of the young and yet born.
When a local TV news crew uses hidden cameras to show how a local business is cheating its customers by providing shoddy goods or unnecessary services they are praised and awarded. When a film crew details felonious trading in fetal body parts they are castigated and put on trial as criminals.
The World is truly turned upside down.
It is like they suck the blood of babies, so the rich can stay Young.
