Dr. Ben Carson, Housing and Urban Development Secretary under President Donald Trump, criticized Covid-19 vaccinations for children ages 5 to 11 as "a giant experiment" during a Sunday appearance on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures."
Asked by anchor Maria Bartiromo whether he agreed with the recent Centers for Disease Control (CDC) decision to allow children to receive Pfizer's Covid vaccine, Carson definitively replied, "absolutely not."
Carson, former director of pediatric neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center, went on to explain his reasoning:
The fact of the matter is, the mortality rate for children from COVID-19 is 0.025, which is very similar to the rate for seasonal flu. And we haven't been for years and years going through all these things for seasonal flu.
Plus, we don't know what the long-term impact of these vaccines is. So this is really sort of a giant experiment. Do we want to put our children at risk, when we know that the risk of the disease to them is relatively small, but we don't know what the future risks are? Why would we do a thing like that? It makes no sense whatsoever.
Dr. Eric Rubin, a voting member of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory committee, admitted last week that the vaccine's ultimate safety profile won't be known fully until it begins being administered to children.
"We're never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it," said Rubin. "That's just the way it goes."

No argument here. My 8 year old will not be vaccinated at this time. If covid is still an issue in a year after more experience with the vaccine or if God forbid it starts making kids seriously ill I will reevaluate at that time

If you can get a doc to write a script for Ivermectin and the pharmacist give you grief, tell them you have demodex folliculorum, eye lash mites. Worked for me.
No. When my elderly father got covid we got him the treatment that actually works. - monoclonal antibodies. If you wish to dabble in hcq and ivermectin be my guest. It probably at least works on eyelash mites

Not true. In June it was 0.000154 aged 0-14 years (on the high side).
No one has immunity if parents hold them accountable at the end of a gun. Remember who did what to who.
I read an article about a meta-study on HCQ that showed mostly positive outcomes when used on COVID. I’m certain that the better outcomes were undoubtedly when HCQ was combined with other treatments.
Ivermectin apparently worked well in India, too; they couldn’t afford the Big Pharma solution over there.
Dennis Prager has been treating himself with these medicines that you hold in disdain prophylactically, so when he recently had COVID — no small deal for a 77-year-old man — he only had a few days of discomfort. Admittedly anecdotal, but it’s still there.
So always remember, when Big Pharma comes calling, feel free to tell them to F off. The only thing they created specifically for COVID that really works, as you implied, are those antibodies.
