That’s about the only thing most Americans follow closely these days - their everyday expenses.
I fear he is correct about what it is going to be—as a result of clear intention.
It’ll never get that high. Even Rush had a segment on this. There’ll be so many producers rushing to get in that the price will naturally decline again.
Before all the Trump hating experts chime in:

In a sane world, sure. But I expect the federal and state governments to start pushing for very high gas taxes soon enough.
I took a pic on my phone inauguration day at the pump: $ 2.19 gal.
It’s 3.87 here now.
Many just pay with plastic and don’t really look at prices.
That said, sharply rising gas prices are very hard to ignore.

The gas price is intentional. If it was a pure supply and demand it wouldn’t have been $3-6 dollars we see around the country.
Nothing Trump says is pie in the sky or campaign rhetoric. He DID IT! Plain and simple.
That $3k, 30mpg car we bought just after biden's coronation might be paying for itself faster than I though. My guess was back to the $4+ per gallon(excluding Cali), just like obama days since this is obama term 3.0. At $1.59 up to $4.59 and it was a one year ROI.
He’s right. He can.
I might say people get what they voted for….but that wouldn’t be the case now would it??
The problem is that every time Trump promised to do something good for America, the rats and the media purposely sabotage it.
Between that and education I would think we got them by the short hairs but Trump is the only one saying it.
Get the Communist teachers unions out of our schools too.
True. And it’s shocking how comparatively little an increase in some things like gas will send them into orbit when more than half of everything they make goes to Uncle now.
In some places in California over $5 a gallon. In northern Cal around $4.50 and up a gallon.
