I had my run ins with the Polk County FL school board and various school administrators over 20 years ago. Oxygen wasters. Things have evolved exactly as I predicted at that time. Perhaps devolved would be a more appropriate term.
By that I mean government schools in general, though I have no doubt Polk County has gotten equally worse. We left Florida over 15 years ago. Never looked back.
