Israel's President asks forgiveness

On Friday, Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited the Arab-Israeli village of Kafr Qassem and addressed a memorial to the victims of the Kafr Qassem Massacre.

In that event, which took place on October 29, 1956, on the first day of the Suez Campaign, forty-nine people were killed.

Speaking at the memorial ceremony, Herzog said, "I am standing here before you today with my head bowed and my heart pained, on the sixty-fifth anniversary of one of the saddest events in the history of our country - an event whose gravity has never been in question. For it is clear to all of us: the killing and injury of innocents are absolutely forbidden. They must remain beyond all political arguments!"

"I bow my head before the memory of the forty-nine victims. I bow my head before you, their families, and before the inhabitants of Kafr Qassem throughout the ages, and on behalf of myself and the State of Israel, I ask for forgiveness."

The US government didn’t enslave anyone. Maybe SCOTUS should pay reparations for the Dredd Scott decision? Sure. Garnish the Justices’ wages for the past 161 years. There was the Fugitive Slave Act, but that was just part of the US Government tolerating slave ownership, and setting the ground rules for recovering runaway slaves. The idea of the government paying reparations to the distant descendants of slaves is ridiculous. Just as ridiculous as this POTSOI’s (President Of The State of Israel’s) “apology”.

Seems that this was an incident where a curfew was enacted with orders to shoot violators on sight, and Arab laborers returning from the fields, unaware of the curfew, were gunned down, including some children. Some Israeli officers said the potential of this happening was discussed and shrugged off, others said it wasn’t discussed.

The anniversary of the SafSaf massacre was yesterday.

It seems gentiles are always apologizing, not just for recent, by for "centuries of Jewish persecution." The Catholic Church has apologized multiple times for its "historical anti-Semitism."

And of course, whites are always apologizing to everyone for "centuries of racism."

I admit, it's surprising seeing a Jewish leader give, rather than demand, an apology.

Wheres the apology for the arab pogroms in Jerusalem and Jaffa in the 1920’s? At least as many Jews killed as Qassem.

StupidAllaTime virus is highly contagious, and if left unchecked will kill everybody, even those not infected. Some have a natural immunity, and the only vaccine/therapy for it is thinking. Its symptoms include hunger for power, hunger for more power, and an overpowering desire to stifle all dissent. The most severe cases will actually kill dissenters.

The worst sufferers, however, are officials whose chief function is ceremonial, such as Israeli Presidents, British royals, and members of legislatures that are run by thugs already infected with the virus.

Sufferers often wear masks meant to make them look decent and rational, and conceal their malevolent scowls.

They’re closely related. The phonetics of Arabic are strange though related to Ivrit, but grammatically they are very similar.
