About 12,000 Air Force personnel have declined to get vaccinated for COVID-19, causing many officials to question how to address the considerable opposition without causing significant challenges and setbacks within the military, The Washington Post reported.
Officials had warned that if military personnel do not receive the COVID-19 vaccination, they will be subjected to punishment, including possible dismissal from service or receiving a charge from the military justice system, the Post wrote. The deadline for complying with the mandate is Tuesday.
However, with such a significant amount of service members rejecting the vaccine mandate, officials are faced with a dilemma: take action against those who rejected the mandate and possibly face serious setbacks within units that should be ready for a crisis, or go back on a wide-scale requirement established in August by the top military leaders.
If they choose to discipline those who reject the mandate, the wave of dismissals could cause the military to be unprepared in a time of crisis, as many jobs on the line include pilots and aircraft maintainers, according to the Post.

Which means 96.4% of all the officers and enlisted in the Air Force have been vaccinated. I suppose they'll get by.

This administration is an admixture of stupid, vindictive, and authoritarian. Bet on them making the most stupid decision possible.
They will lose a lot of Navy SEALs too.
And just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas; forcing people from their jobs.

50% of my 2nd son’s platoon doesn’t have the shot, and almost all e6 and below in my first son’s unit don’t have it.
I doubt the number is that low. I’m betting the true numbers are around 20%-30% that have refused the poison. That’s why they are worried.
What an idiotic statement, considering you have no idea who those 12,000 are. But authoritarians don't care about anything, other than forcing people to submit, and punishing those that don't.
Guess what. If there is not an entire ground crew doing everything that needs to be done the planes don’t fly. Losing this many people will ground the USAF.

I’m reminded of a story from Nazi Germany. While the Nazis had no problem persecuting and killing individuals, they had problems in attacking groups in public. It was thought that over a given number of protesters, it would require higher approval, and they were afraid to act without it.
Which brings us to modern times. A lot of Democrat martinets don’t know how to lead, only *dictate*, so freak out and fail when faced with resistance. Of course they may huff and puff and threaten group punishments, but for the most part, they cannot deliver.
Speaking from experience as a flight line crew chief, you’d be amazed at how much losing one or two guys in your section or shop can affect things.

Perfect. China loosed this horror on the world. It got them Biden elected and his entourage of absolutely insane dimmocommies. Now their insanity is getting rid of our military FOR THEM. They won’t have to fire a shot to just Taiwan us. Every one of Biden’s cabinet, plus Biden & Harris, should be dragged out and have their head blasted off their shoulders via shotgun, for treason.
