Here in the US I suspect most “black Muslims” don’t speak Arabic - so they can’t lead as Imams (can’t read the Koran). It is not allowed to translate the Koran into English.

“black Muslims” in the USA especially nation of Islam are not considered Muslims per se by other Muslims. Malcolm X converted from NoI to Islam
