Thursday on CNN’s “New Day,” Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) sounded off on the ongoing negotiations for President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better spending agenda.
Dingell said Democrats plan to meet with Biden, and “nobody knows” what’s in the bill. She added that she’s “not even sure” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) knows what has been included.
“Paid family leave, congresswoman, gone from the bill?” asked host Brianna Keilar.
“I think one of the challenges is this morning when the president is expected to come to our Democratic caucus at 9:00 is nobody knows. And I’m not even sure the speaker knows what’s in the bill, what the revenue sources are going to be. It has been in agreement. The revenue sources in this bill will cover all of … the new programs. This will not add to the debt. Now, we need to know what’s going to be in the bill.”
“First of all, I want to say everybody wants to call this total chaos; people are divided. We’re united on our values,” she added. “We all know failure is not an option. And we have got to work together, figure it out. What we do get in this bill is going to make the difference in a lot of people’s lives, and we cannot fail to not get something passed. But, there have been two senators who have had way too much control, and you’ve got a House of 435 members, 220 Democrats who want to have their say, want to know what’s in it, and aren’t going to vote for something they don’t know what’s in it.”

You ain't kidding. One of the radio commentators said there's enough socialism in this spending to push America over the edge (climate control with possible carbon tax enforcement, rewards for Marxist solutions and punishment for attempts for a free market....).
The first real US income tax and the early New Deal government spending programs were thought to be temporary by some people. A few decades of increases later there aren't people around who think that. "Welfare is only a bridge to create a pathway for someone through a brief period from need to self-sufficiency and employment." But the bridge seems to be built of steel and go on for years of travel now.
One would think that even ‘Rats would know what’s in the sausage they are delivering.
The slaves on the Dingell Plantation need to revolt.
NOBODY knows what’s in it? BS. If they don’t know, it means they don’t want to know. Some people were tasked with typing the thing up. If I were a member of Congress, I would have staff go over the bill and give me a summary. What if someone slipped in a provision that all members of Congress would be hanged by the neck at high noon on January 1? It would be a shame if, not knowing what was in the bill, they all voted for it.
She’s just in it for a win. She doesn’t give a darn about whats in the Bill.

CNN has a summary - child care, “child tax credit” welfare handouts, solar power stuff\EV subsidies, etc.
As if they care. They just want it passed then they can fill in the blanks. And of course amnesty and vote rigging is the first to be enacted. They win. The rest of the nation loses.
That would be kind of funny. But make it just democrat congress people.

The entire administration is all about obtaining revenue sources......there’s a real hunt for this going on as I write when you stand back and see how they’re operating.
