Nobody has to wait to see that you've already gotten it repeatedly wrong about this case. What a shock - not.
Your bias is here for one thing only - my amusement. Stick around for more punch down.
"The initial Prosecutor could not get away from the case soon enough. He wrote his buddy a letter passing the case to him." - splurtNope.
- The 1st DA to handle this case was a "she" : Jackie Johnson, District Attorney in Glynn County. Greg McMichael, after retiring from law enforcement, worked at Johnson's office as an Investigator for several years, up until re-retiring.
- The 2nd DA was George Barnhill, District Attorney in Waycross JD. In the course of his invest, Barnhill's son, an ADA in Glynn Co, realized that he had to deal with Arbery previously, having pled A. Arbery to a felony (quite likely the 2018 shoplifting and probation revocation). DA Barnhill is the one who set the record straight:
"This family are not strangers to the local criminal justice system. From best we can tell, Ahmaud's older brother has gone to prison in the past and is currently in the Glynn Jail, without bond, awaiting new felony prosecution. It also appears a cousin has been prosecuted by DA Johnson's office. Ahmaud, the deceased, had a juvenile and adult felony record."
