The volcano is hungry for a sacrificial politician.
It’s already gone seriously wrong...I think the top split this morning.
Not sure bombing would help though.
The angry god making the volcano erupt might not like that
That would be just as useful as dropping the vaccine on it to cause lava clots.
On the other hand, the vaccine might work. They should drop all the vaccine that has been produced down the throat of the most active vent and find out if the lava starts clotting.

Couldn’t they get a bunch of people to bounce up and down on one side of the island to flip it over? Then the water would extinguish the volcano.

They could possibly blow up an area that has formed a dam with a few bunker busters to divert the flow, but it seems futile.

Or maybe,in the 1970S, called for mining coal, grinding it to dust, mixing it with oil and spraying it on glaciers to stop THE COMING ICE AGE!
If they want to appease the volcano by dropping politicians in it, then we’d best get started with the lengthy list of candidates. If that didn’t stop the volcano, it would at least solve another longstanding problem.
