I really despise the term “non-profit”. Many people reflexively think a non-profit must be good because....they don’t aspire to make a profit. However, they make up for this by paying their officers & staff exorbident salaries. It is a very good career choice.

IMHO, non-profits are even worse than the “military-industrial complex” that Eisenhower railed about.

In a sane world, the school board would be required to cancel any contract that demanded these terms and be legally forbidden from entering into any future contracts that attempt to impose such restrictions on content review by parents.

It’s up to the voters in that district to decide if they want to live in a sane world or not.

FOIA laws don't apply because they reached the school district says so?

What other rights can they simply ignore by hiding behind 3rd parties?

It was like pulling teeth without an anesthetic.

A very large research and development lab, many interesting things to see and hear about.

Without a current NDA, you will be unemployed.
And they would carp about it for a week afterward...

Not sure what the problem is - it is THEIR SCHOOLS, they fund them and we don’t like it, we have the option of taking our kids elsewhere (although I do get it, it might mean downsizing one’s lifestyle a bit, and that cannot be tolerated).
