Once again, we are told the Church is meant to somehow make you feel good in your sin and love of the world

Half of young people ages 13 to 25 surveyed said they don’t think that religious institutions care as much as they do about issues that matter deeply to them, according to a report released Monday by the Springtide Research Institute, a nonpartisan nonprofit. Those issues include racial justice, gender equity, immigration rights, income inequality and gun control...The biggest disconnect involves LGBT rights. About 71% of youths said they care about gay rights, but feel that 44% of religious communities care about the same issue, according to the survey of 10,274 people across the country representing various faiths.

In other words, they are judging the Word of God by the standards of the world rather than the other way around. They have been so indoctrinated by the secular world that that has become their default standard. If the orthodox teaching of the Church does not match the values of the world, they assume the Church is wrong or backwards or whatever. This is because the Church has watered down Christ's message in an attempt to appease and has just ended up being weak in the face of the dominant culture.

The Church has answers to all these questions the youth are asking, but it is the rare, unbrainwashed youth today that will give it an honest hearing. The only solution is a strong adherence to the faith that has formed the saints for 2000 years, preaching the gospel in no uncertain terms, but letting the love of Christ shine through. Many will reject and fall away, but the ones who stay and listen will be the strong ones who allow God's grace to transform their hearts. We ourselves are not called to be successful, but only faithful.

In the Enoch materials found int he Dead Sea Scrolls, it is noted that the snatching away of the body of Christ Believers (the Rapture of the Body of Christ) is done by GOD so that the doubters have a chance to rethink their rejection of God’s Promises. Apparently a number so great John could not count them get translated to heaven spiritually during the Tribulation because the Rapture happened and they were left here and so they call out to God for the forgiveness which is salvation in spirit. They are seen by John ‘under the throne after being -many of them- beheaded for their belief in Jesus as Messiah Who is coming to the Earth to touch down and end the run of satan and his doomed minions.

More is the pity: ‘Raise up a child in the way that they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it.’

No, the DSS do NOT mention a "Rapture", in the "Enoch materials" or anywhere else, nor do they mention Christ.

So its the church’s fault they aren’t liberal socialists.

There are plenty of liberal socialist churches out there for them. They just can’t get off their asses long enough to commit to going to a certain place 1 hour a week that doesn’t kowtow and coddle them.

My wife and I have been attending a new church. Near a large University and is mostly 20-somethings and below. Enough older folks to keep things interesting.

The pastor does 40-minute long sermons. He usually goes through a book in the bible for weeks on end. Although now he is on a thing about “Answering Questions”.

How did we get the Bible.
Is it authoritative - is it the true Word of God (Yes!).
What is sin?
Does Hell exist? (yes)
How can a loving God send people to Hell? (He is a God of Justice too).

Anyway - lots of conservative theology which is great to see the younger folks listening to. He was lambasting Progressive Christianity. “Now - this isn’t “progressive” with regard to one’s politics - Christians come in all sorts of political flavors. We’re talking Progressive Christianity. Where false teachers come along and say there are many “truths”. Where they say there is no Hell. Where they say people are mostly good. Where they tickle your ears with what you want to hear.”

Odd, are you familiar with the past ten years of Dead Sea Scrolls now being translated and commented upon? The snatching away is DEFINITELY found in them. Ken Johnson has a small book called The Rapture, in which he notes for the reader many many references to The Rapture prior to the time of Darby. And Ken in schoolarly excellence has been translating from the Aramaic as the newest scrolls are released.

When the church is focused on being “not of this world”, it is attractive to people looking for answers. When the church compromises with the world and bends over backwards to be part of it, it has nothing valid to say anymore. It then has nothing to offer but empty religion and ritual.

An entire generation has been taught that absolutely everything is politics and “causes”. Anything that doesn’t fit into that category is not worth their time. Jesus had very few things to say about politics, a lot to say about worldly religious leaders, and much more to say about who God really is.

In order to get people back to the churches, the churches need to get back to what Jesus said should be their first love, the old paths, the reasons we should be God-seekers in the first place. They have a long way to go to get right again. Until then, our youth and millions more are lost sheep without a shepherd.

You are mislead. 100 to 200 years before His birth, the Zadok priests were giving prophecies of the exact yeqar Jesus/Messiah would be vorn, the year He would die, etc. There is much more, if you are truly interested in what is being revealed in these last days.

If I am misled, kindly point me to the text of the DSS to which you are referring about the rapture of Christian believers. The DSS texts are widely available online and you should easily be able to provide them. Thanks in advance.

That’s funny. I’m alienated by churches that push racial justice, gender equity, immigration rights, income inequality and gun control. There are no shortage of churches like that the Woke serfs could join.
