That's definitely an issue, especially at times when travel is heavy like holidays.
On the other hand, as long as you don't have to run A/C, the Tesla will do better fuel wise in huge traffic jams. No idling.

I think everybody who wants a Tesla should buy one. One of my friends has two Teslas (an S and a 3) and a Volt.
I’m not crazy about subsidizing them though.
