You may have seen this before, but it's worth viewing again. This was recorded in 1969...it was reality then, but now the socialist/communist movement has moved so far down the road we are on the verge of losing our Democracy. How prescient was that speaker, 52 years ago!!!
Yes prescient in today’s view, with the exception that the further along the Marxists have been able to subvert institutions - academia, the media and “Democrats- to operate in favor of Marxist narratives the less likely is a Communist victory to be violent and the more likely it will complete all its objectives with just that subversion and not violence (other than the occasional violent protest or riot, meant for intimidation of the “uncommitted”).

I’ll disagree with you because I think Trump forced this escalation of their attacks on us. There was no way they could take another 4 years of him exposing and mocking them and have any hope of success in any near time frame.

***We LOST our constitutional republic in 2008 when SCOTUS refused to do their job and determine the constitutional requirements of Natural Born Citizen, which definition had been held for more than 200 years as ‘born on US soil to 2 US citizen parents’. When SCOTUS told the entire country that NONE of us had standing in Berg vs. Obama, that was the official changing of this nation into an oligarchy. It is very similar to the historically accepted threshold when Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon river and started the Roman civil war, thus ending the Roman republic and starting the Roman Empire.
The reason why SCOTUS is given lifetime appointment is so they can be protected from the political ramifications of their decisions, but they regularly BASE their decisions on political ramifications. In particular, they have inserted their voice where it was clearly states’ rights issues such as abortion but here they REFUSED to do their job when it was obviously theirs to do.
We do not have a “democracy”.
We are a Republic.

Words mean things - ‘freedom’ is not a synonym for ‘democracy’. Never second guess or make excuses as those almost always are wrong.
I think we’re both saying he same thing. By causing them to abandon their plan of incrementally introducing Socialism/Communism Trump made us all aware of their plan and by doing that made the success of their plan far more difficult and much in doubt.
