This is the sixth in a series of articles analyzing the federal grand jury indictment charging lawyer Michael Sussmann with making a materially false statement to the FBI’s General Counsel. The indictment spelled out Sussmann’s involvement in a thus-far uncharged conspiracy to create a false narrative that was calculated to demonstrate a secret channel of internet communications between the Trump Organization and the Russian Alfa-Bank.
Recently Sussmann’s lawyers moved for a bill of particulars alleging that the indictment lacks sufficient detail and clarity for their client to prepare his defense.
Special Counsel John Durham’s brief in opposition pointed out that the 27-page indictment amply satisfies the legal requirement that it need only include a plain, concise, and definitive written statement of the essential facts constituting the offense charged. Moreover, Durham’s opposing brief also points out that the prosecution has already provided the defense with ample clarification by way of expansive and massive discovery.
According to Durham, on October 7, the government “made its first production of discovery to the defense” which “included more than 6,000 documents, comprising approximately 81,000 pages.” The documents were “received in response to grand jury subpoenas issued to fifteen separate individuals, entities, and organizations — including among others, political organizations, a university, university researchers, an investigative firm, and numerous companies.”

Agreed. This former prosecutor has done a great multi-series analysis. Thanks for posting so I can stay up with it.
Will Durham be able to prove the FBI knowingly participated in the fraudulent investigation based on the bogus Russia collusion evidence?
It’s impossible for a person who doesn’t exist to find anything in their bed. :)
That’s because our ENTIRE GOVERNMENT IS CORRUPT!!! EVEN THE “GOOD GUYS” ARE CORRUPT!
Yes,you may be on to something there.
If justice has its way the conspirators are f*cked. That’s a big “if.”
Georgia University......wonder if any politicians from that state are involved
Is he able to?
Yep.
Will he?
Nope.

6000 documents.
81,000 pages.
Thanks, I learned that from Rene Descartes. :)
For me, it has become obvious, Leftist lawyers do not prosecute leftist.. At any level, no matter what.. Especially in DC.! And nearly all of DC consist of stinking leftist lawyers..... :(
I do not believe Durham would have conducted such an extensive investigation if he did not intend to see it through to completion. It’s not nearly enough, but he has uncovered the despicable actions that have been taken by these traitors.
I hope I am proven wrong, but I think it’s more:
Will he?
If he is able to.
Is he able to?
Nope.
rwa
Good question. I sure hope so. Not just the FIB, but the CYA. Even higher elements of the DOJ.
Thus far Durham has not issued a “report.” He’s done better by issuing an initial indictment, comprehensive in its content for discovery leading much deeper.
6000 documents ... 81,000 pages. All for one guy making a false statement! Surely there are other horses in this barn contributing to the foul smell of major criminal conspiracy.
Somebody with legal knowledge needs to answer something for me. It’s directly related to Sussmann’s grand jury indictment. Specifically, he was working for Perkins Coie LLP, and representing the DNC.
We can now assume, that Perkins Coie LLC and the DNC were conspiring to defraud the US government and people of the United States and deny an American his 4th Amendment rights. This is irrefutably spelled out in the indictment.
Why hasn’t the Special Council taken ALL OF THE Perkins Coie files, with the DNC, and Democrats who utilized this law firm, to look for illegal behavior. This was essentially granted against Trump’s attorneys in the Southern District of NY, and because of possible conspiracy?
OR...once again do we have two separate Justice systems and legal enforcement going on?
All of the files of a large law firm would be outside his purview. Only the files dealing with the crime he is investigating.
Only democrats get carte blanche to go on a fishing expedition.
This is the longest indictment in the history of 1001 charges and it does detail a much larger conspiracy. This article has numerous emails and other information that support such a conspiracy where involved persons admit, in a permanent record, that there is nothing there.
It will be interesting to see how many of those who wrote those same emails lied to the grand jury and how many told the truth.... that it was a knowing attempt to frame Trump using data they knew was false.
According to the indictment, one of Sussmann’s clients, Rodney L. Joffe, was an executive of Neustar, Inc., a cybersecurity firm. According to outside sources, Joffe was also a cybersecurity adviser to the Obama White House. By virtue of his position at Neustar and other internet companies, he had access to “large amounts of internet and cybersecurity data” including so-called Domain Name System (“DNS”) data.
