Even the the shot doesn’t gaurauntee you won’t give the virus to someone else?

It’s confusing because it doesn’t make sense, you are perceptive.
Maybe there’s more to the shot than inhibiting virus potency, which is the most generous way to describe the shot.

There isn’t a realistic way to test everybody to see who’s had it, so their logic is to tell everyone to get vaxxed(even though they know not everyone is going to). Plus you can get it more than once so it helps for that. Vaccine immunity plus natural immunity is just more immunity
