It was a real gun they used for target practice off the set. How do you point that gun at anyone? How does anyone let a real gun get pointed at them?

Sorry, they were ALL real guns. They had a bunch of period pieces, mostly replicas but they were real. The armorer's job was to ensure the ones used on set ONLY had blanks. It turned out that she was using them for target practice (ie, fun and games) off set.

I will admit, even a replica Colt Dragoon is a hell of a lot of fun to shoot. But dang, girl, you only had ONE job!
