The Lincoln Project said on Friday that it would be filing an ethics complaint against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) for allegedly taking part in a Breitbart News interview this month at a university football stadium.
The anti-Trump organization claimed that the University of Texas at Austin allowed conservative news outlet Breitbart News to conduct an interview with Abbott this month at their football stadium.
The Lincoln Project said that one month earlier, they were allegedly told by the university that an ad critical of Abbott’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was supposed to air on ESPN during a university football game, could not air due to “an undisclosed policy against running political advertisements.”

Billionaire Democratic donors give big to anti-Trump Lincoln ProjectBy Karl Evers-Hillstrom
[Snip]
July 15, 2020 4:25 pmBillionaire investor Stephen Mandel — a longtime backer of Democratic groups — gave $1 million to The Lincoln Project last month. Bain Capital executive Joshua Bekenstein chipped in $100,000 to the group. He and his wife Anita have given $6.4 million mostly to Democratic causes during the 2020 cycle, making them the 20th most generous donors. The Bekensteins gave big to two other super PACs supporting presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, Unite the Country and Priorities USA Action.
DreamWorks founder David Geffen — a million-dollar donor to Democratic super PACs in 2018 — also gave $100,000 to the Republican-led group. So did billionaire cable TV pioneer Amos Hostetter, another major Democratic donor. Retail developer Joseph Kaempfer added $75,000 after giving $500,000 to pro-Biden super PAC American Bridge 21st Century earlier this year.
Some current and former Republican donors also bankrolled The Lincoln Project in the second quarter. Investor and former Jeb Bush backer David Seldin gave $75,000. His political contributions have shifted entirely to Democrats in the Trump era. Michigan oil executive Sidney Jansma, who is backing critical Republican congressional candidates in his state such as John James, Peter Meijer and Lynn Afendoulis, donated $100,000.
Peter Meijer voted to impeach President Trump.
Lincoln Project likes playing with erection sets.
The Lincoln Project?! I thought the organization was disbanded out of shear shame.
Is this the gay man’s organization?
Since Trump isn't in power right now, shouldn't these cockroaches crawl back under the rocks from which they emerged?
Who cares what a bunch of filthy degenerate fags think about anything? 🤪
Not me.
Let’s Go Lincoln Project
Sooner or later regular, everyday Americans will have to take a stand — a hard, non-compromising stand — with those of all stripes who are determined to destroy our Republic long before “the next election” that the GOP leadership is hiding in the corner patiently waiting for.
With the taint of pedophilia attached to them, you'd think they'd try to retain what little respect they may still have, and just slink off into the sunset.
I don’t think so-I think it is just a political organization of democrats with extreme TDS making big bucks donations-wasn’t the real pervert/gay organization called log cabin or some other Lincoln reference-or used to be-if so, then people are yelling at the wrong political demons-this one is the non-gay evil political donor project...
“you’d think they’d try to retain what little respect they may still have, and just slink off into the sunset.”
That would require a conscience, decency, and some sense of personal honor.
But since they possess none of these things….
L
I want to know who spilled the beans. Who told the Lincoln Project there was such a thing as ethics?
That’s the Log Cabin Republicans.
I’m sure there is some over-lapping between the two of them.
Are there any descendants of Abraham Lincoln alive to object to the hijacking of the family name?
