Pennsylvania State Police said the agency is mourning a trooper who died Thursday after a hospitalization.
Trooper Dung X. Martinez, 57, was a patrol trooper with Troop T, the King of Prussia Barracks, police said.
“Our department expresses deep sorrow for the sudden loss of a colleague and friend,” Commissioner Colonel Robert Evanchick said. “We wish Trooper Martinez’s family and friends comfort and peace during this difficult time and ask Pennsylvanians to keep them in their thoughts.”
Martinez joined the state police in April of 2000, graduating with the 107th cadet class, police said. He worked with troops in Media, Lancaster and Trevose during his career.
According to police, he received the Blooming Grove Service Award for participating in the 2014 manhunt of Eric Frein.
Martinez is survived by his wife and two children.

Odds are it was. They don’t want to alert the rest of the force and LE generally across the Country. You have a young, seemingly fit male who fits the heart complication profile of the vax.
Probably not. Given any number of other illnesses that can strike suddenly, COVID-19 is just one possibility.
I suspect that if it was Covid, it would have been mentioned right off the bat and used to promote the jab.
