Condoleezza Rice, a former Secretary of State and current Director of the Hoover Institution, slammed Critical Race Theory during an interview on ABC’s “The View” on Wednesday, saying that it is wrong to make white people “feel guilty” over the past and it is wrong to make black people feel “disempowered by race.”
“But if I could take a moment to talk about the whole issue of Critical Race Theory and what is, and is not being taught, I come out of an academic institution, and this is something that academics debate. What is the role of race and so forth? And let me be very clear; I grew up in segregated, Birmingham, Alabama. I couldn’t go to a movie theater, or to a restaurant with my parents. I went to segregated schools till we moved to Denver. My parents never thought I was going to grow up in a world without prejudice, but they also told me, ‘That’s somebody else’s problem, not yours. You’re going to overcome it, and you are going to be anything you want to be.’ And that’s the message that I think we ought to be sending to kids.”
“One of the worries that I have about the way that we’re talking about race is that it either seems so big that somehow white people now have to feel guilty for everything that happened in the past. I don’t think that’s very productive,” Rice continued. “Or black people have to feel disempowered by race. I would like black kids to be completely empowered, to know that they are beautiful in their blackness, but in order to do that, I don’t have to make white kids feel bad for being white. So somehow, this is a conversation that has gone in the wrong direction.”

Somebody better call Merrick Garland. Domestic terror afoot.
Ms. Rice is far too intelligent to be on that show, mostly hosted by far unintelligent types. Those who watch it are even worse. Its too bad Rice has a view that is counter to there’s. I watched the View at one time and got turned off. I felt like I was watching people from my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. The one with the loud mouth takes the cake for sure.
Bushbot trial balloon with suburban housewives (Trump’s worst demographic). They’re desperate to get traction going into the midterms if they have any hope of influencing 2024.
So this sounds like a very common-sense statement for anyone, black or white, to make. What was the response of the harpies on the View?
Condi was my professor in college. She is brilliant beyond words. She would make a great NFL commissioner but the owners prefer a lapdog like Goodell. Rice would never take orders from them.
Got to respect her there.
She voted for Obama because Negro...
Back in 2014 grassroots conservatives in California tried to nominate Tim Donnelly for Governor. Tim was the sort of candidate who appeals to MAGA voters.
Donnelly was viciously opposed by a pack of national GOP hacks who had a different choice, Neel Kashkari. Kashkari not only supported policies indistinguishable from Obama, he admitted voting for Obama, twice.
The Donnelly haters of the GOP called him a racist (his wife is Asian), they said nominating him would cause the GOP to lose nationwide; they basically said the same things they would later use on Trump.
Unsurprisingly these hacks included Romney, the Bushes, and also Condy Rice, who is a good little Bush stooge willing to vilify a good man if the party hacks demand it. Eff her.
As sensible as this approach is, it fell on brains addled with hate for America. The destruction that is upon us is the goal, not a by-product of the whole liberal project. They won’t stop. So this kinda of talk does not soothe them, it only inflames them and fills them with righteous fervor for the mission upon which they have embarked.
I wasn’t under any illusions that she’d change any hearts or minds on that show, so that wasn’t what I was wondering or asking. I was wondering what their on-air replies were to what she said. Did they shout over her like do do other guests they don’t agree with, or did they give her a relatively respectful listen? I don’t watch that show but I was hoping someone else had and could share how the hosts responded.
Did they sick the dogs on her?
Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar are probably tow of the stupidest people on Earth.
Rice would have been better off talking to my cat.

Your cat: 'Meow'.
Yep: more intelligent than 'The View'.
Critical Race Theory doesn’t exist. It’s a scam. At best it’s a framework of five “principles.”
CRT’s most powerful feature is that it’s whatever the CRT theorist or facilitator says it is and it’s never whatever the CRT critic says it is.
