Let’s flesh that out with a more legal definition I sent to 340 co-workers just this last Monday:
Coercion:
The intimidation of a victim to compel the individual to do some act against his or her will by the use of psychological pressure, physical force, or threats. The crime of intentionally and unlawfully restraining another’s freedom by threatening to commit a crime, accusing the victim of a crime, disclosing any secret that would seriously impair the victim’s reputation in the community, or by performing or refusing to perform an official action lawfully requested by the victim, or by causing an official to do so.
Uh, ESPN announced the requirement back in May: Link
You are debating words—what she was faced with is called _duress_.
It is enumerated as a _specific_ crime against humanity in the Nuremberg Code.
More importantly, those who use duress to attempt to induce others to take medications/vaccines are evil sociopaths.
Those who defend such practices are also evil sociopaths.
Despicable comment. You know NOTHING about her.
Didn't work then, did it?
It is enumerated as a _specific_ crime against humanity in the Nuremberg Code.
I'm still waiting for someone to make that case in court.

This defines it very nicely; thanks for putting this up there.
I'm certain that the threat to one's livelihood has been recognized in legal circles as coercion throughout Judeo-Christian history, if for no other reason than the act of depriving a man of his just wages is one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.
This was nothing more than the two reasons
Leftist women’s rights are
1) It’s my body, right to abort.
2) and now, its my body, no right to not take the jab.
Liberals are on opposites side of this claim.
Your welcome. I sent that earlier this week, because our HR department “mistakenly” sent an email to the non-compliant with every non-compliant cc’d instead of blind copied.
Was it a mistake? Probably, but I sent that definition out to all cc’d before they claimed it was a mistake…otherwise I don’t give a rats arse given where this is all headed.
NOW IS THE TIME TO SPEAK UP!
That's reprehensible, no matter what her political positions may be.
Evil is evil—no matter what the “courts” say.
Btw, the Naxis were not prosecuted under Naxi court laws—crimes against humanity are never acknowledged by the courts that are filled with the criminals!
I stand corrected. ESPN was coerced by state and local governments, not the federal government. My home state required vaccine proof to enter stadiums around that time.
Ah yes, that so much better. I love freedom from being able to make a choice, especially if dictated from local people I voted against.
I can’t believe you don’t see the difference between that kind of statement and the one you apparently think is okie-dokie: “You can get the Covid vaccine and keep your job, or you can refuse the vaccine and lose your job.”
FYI, losing your job means not only having no income but also losing your health insurance for yourself and your family. Refusing the experimental vaccine isn’t a decision to be taken lightly and neither is the decision for getting it in the first place.
Here's my response to the reporterette, "Yes, we do, sweetheart. We have all sorts of freedom. People just choose not to pursue it. Instead, they choose to comply then bitch about how they were "forced" in to it."
She did a good a job and I hope she files a lawsuit
Not guilty.
I don't think it's a decision to be taken lightly. But it was a decision she had the freedom to make and she made it. And in doing so she chose to accept the consequences. I respect her for that.
