we just got a 1/4 of a beef cow and we're looking into getting a big ol pig as well....we butcher stuff ourselves...hub has a meat shop with a walk in cooler....

we've got lots of meat...lots of elk, deer.....so I shouldn't worry but I do like my beef.

When/if the shtf, all that elk and deer will be gone quick and there won’t be any such thing as a hunting season when people are hungry enough.
