Hospitals in Texas have reported an increased number of full intensive care units (ICUs) as the delta variant of the coronavirus continues to ravage communities.
According to data released Monday, 42 Texas hospitals reported that their ICU beds were filled to capacity between Oct. 8 and Oct. 14.
The data is released by the federal government's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on a weekly basis and accounts for about 200 Texas hospitals that have more than four ICU patients or four staffed ICU beds. Other hospitals with smaller ICU departments also reported data to HHS.

They aren’t short of beds. They are short of staff to attend to the beds because of their stupid vaccine mandates.

No one can believe “data” anymore. Especially not government “data,” which the Left has made as suspect as their polls.
If they start reporting how many beds are availble on a daily or weekly basis we will see that the real shortage is from the fact that they can’t have an available bed in inventory if they don’t have someone to staff it.

In Texas, active COVID cases are down to the same levels as the start of August.
I agree with the comments here, I would also add that now the vaccinated employees are having to do the work load of the fired unvaccinated employees, and they aren’t too happy about it! Now, they are striking.
