My grandfather was a small town doctor in East Texas during the depression. He traded his medical services for auto work, vegetables and meat and one time he got paid with a pair of goats.

My Grandpa survived the Depression, too. I loved hearing his stories. Very inspiring and makes me know that I could probably survive it, too.

Hoping our illegitimate ‘president’ doesn’t make me have to prove it!
