Trump called Rep. Liz Cheney a "psycho" and "not the brightest person in the world" in an interview.
The comments are Washington Examiner's David Drucker's new book.
Trump also slammed Sens. Mitt Romney and Mitch McConnell in the interview.
Former President Donald Trump lobbed insults at Rep. Liz Cheney, an outspoken critic of his, in an interview with Washington Examiner's David Drucker for his new book, "In Trump's Shadow," released Tuesday.
Trump told Drucker that the Wyoming Republican is "not the brightest person in the world" and that "she's a psycho."
It's not the first time Trump has bad-mouthed Cheney. He's also previously called her "disloyal" and a "warmongering fool."

You are right...I just wish DJT would tone it down a tad, use more friendly insults and less combative remarks. DJT is 98% of the time right...which is a good thing, problem is the blue air is so thick from the MSM and never Trumper's, I find I am exhausted just defending him, have little time enjoying him.
I agree with Trump on a lot of things - and this is definitely one of them.

I agree with you. We need Trump and he needs to tone down his impulsive reactions. Less can be more at times.
Commenting on too many things becomes a distraction and gives the media fodder to attack him.
Presidents shouldn’t mud wrestle with everyone. Its unpresidential. to be sure, I think there are people who like his policies but don’t like his outsized personality. That’s a problem for him.
I don’t think Trump realizes how much more effective he could be by being a little less combative.
After the insults he has had to endure from the likes of Liz I find it funny that he throws it back at her in spades!

I enjoy Trump’s tirades against the Left. And the GOP RINOs for that matter. They deserve every word of it.
That said I think he can be even more effective by being a little more selective about how and when he goes on offense.
