Not if the system is so totally broken, we make a new system for our children. The left will continue to do as they do, be stupid and lazy. They will not defend us when push comes to shove, so I really don’t feel sorry for them. Parents today, for the most part, are lazy, self centered POS. Just my opinion but I have heard it over and over and over from family and friends who ARE teachers and have to deal with it every day. Parents do not care. One student my daughter in law taught, the mom and then the aunt left the kid at the school. Told them to not send the child home, no one would be there. When the police got involved the mom basically said where do I sign to get rid of the kid...... So sad and they wonder why the child acts up. Most likely mom was high when she was out screwing around as this was one of nine..... siblings. AND we are paying for it.
I don’t see taking over the education of our children as a retreat, but as an advance.
We can still work to improve public Ed. I worked here to recall three of the worst school board members. The recall election will be in February.
Even if you see it as a retreat: my opinion, adults go to war. We should not send our children.
