I’m of two minds regarding LEOs — there’s the Honest, and there’s the remainder.
The remainder is no better than the suspect. In other words, more than an equal response is justifiable.
The Police were just doing their jobs; following standard procedure. There is no evidence of any policeman violating anyone’s rights.
Here’s a video of some New Hampshire state police menacingly hoovering over people attending a public meeting of their elected officials and arresting them pretty much at random. It does not inspire great confidence in our law enforcement.
