Who is John Galt? In the classic novel Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand described a future world in which proliferating regulations and restrictions progressively rob the world's most productive people of the fruits of their labor. One such person (John Galt), offended that he was denied the rewards of his work, swears that he will "stop the engine of the world." And he does — by disappearing and taking the world's best producers with him. Without society's most productive members, world systems begin to fail. Utilities, transportation, and manufacturing become unreliable.
"Who is John Galt?" is a question becoming relevant for us. Our systems are slowly failing before our very eyes.
Our supply chain has been failing for months — and we're only now becoming aware of it. I fear that our leadership still is unaware of this failure's seriousness. Fully loaded cargo ships languish off our coast for weeks, waiting to be unloaded — while store shelves sit empty for lack of the products on those ships.
Energy costs are skyrocketing. The price at the pump is forcing families to make hard decisions. Natural gas has increased in price so much that the government is predicting a cold, expensive winter for many Americans. Yet we live in the most energy-rich country in the world. With such an abundance, why is it so hard to make fuel affordably available?
Crime is rampant. Police face retribution (and even prosecution) for enforcing the law if it's caught on the wrong cell phone camera. Their response has been predictable. They've stopped doing anything proactive. They're happy to investigate crimes that have already been committed. But they're not going to do anything to stop criminal acts in progress — It's too personally risky.

This is deliberate and planned, when do we physically remove these treasonous bastards?
SABOTAGE...!
Yes, it is.
Those that know when, won't say. Those that say when, don't know.
All I know is, there is a 'when'.
I watched an interesting movie recently... not a new movie (are there any new movies these days?), from 2005 I think:
V for Vendetta.
Move the word “Are” two words to the right and replace the question mark with a period.
Our situation is similar to Atlas Shrugged in many ways, but different in one big way.
It is similar in that our world is falling apart through total incompetence. It is different, though, in that we didn’t vote for this. The elections are rigged, the candidates are pre-selected, and the destruction of our way of life is deliberate, by people with true malice - their motives are varied, but it doesn’t matter - they obviously hate humanity.
In that way, it is far worse than anything Ayn Rand envisioned.
“There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.”

“When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion–when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing–when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors–when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you–when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice–you may know that your society is doomed.”
I’ve heard many people say, “Don’t attribute to malice what could easily be explained by incompetence,” but I don’t believe anything these pikers are doing in DC is incompetent. They’re following a variety of socialist and communist playbooks to collapse America, and we’re letting it happen. Not you and me, at least not directly, but collectively Americans showed up to the polls a year ago, completely blew out the ballot box for Donald Trump’s second term, and were summarily repudiated by an exceptionally effective vote fraud machine that was not challenged in any substantive way.
There’s an old saying that a lie will circle the globe before the truth has tied its shoes, but what happens when the truth is given leaden shoes and told the race route is through a swamp? At some point Americans (ALL Americans) have to give up some creature comforts, experience a little discomfort, to move this ball forward.
Our system is horrible mangled. Insurance companies would consider us a total loss. The frame is still intact, but when you have an engine leaking fluids from every crack, cut brake lines, flat tires, a gas tank full of sugar, broken windshield, and dented quarter panels, do you try to fix every little thing at the expense of your sanity and wallet or do you strip it down to the frame and rebuild?
good point.
And there is very little opposition to it at all.
Not from you and me and the others by the tree...we are all mightily pissed.
But few will stand up and say enough. De Santis? Noem? Abbot? Cruz? Picking a few well timed comments won’t stop it and certainly won’t reverse it.
Maybe its time for a yellow vest movement here? To prod them along into bolder opposition? Not sure how its really working in France...
Our only hope is for “our side” to step up and take control of the election process at the local level and monitor it like hawks at every step, especially in the urban precincts, where it will probably be very dangerous for us. And unlike last time, when we see fraud, we have to stop it in real time, not just complain about it on TV.
And then, even if we start winning, it’s not over. Because then the Deep State is likely to crash the economy on us... forget Dow 36,000, more like Dow 3,000. And all the unemployment and poverty and social unrest that goes with that.
We’re going to have to go through hell to get our country back.
The further we descend, the farther we have to climb. I agree. I’m praying for a breaking point sometime soon. This can’t keep going on like it is.
Quite true, thanks to F Joe, America is in a swift economic decline. How the government in Atlas Shrugged came to power was not in scope for her novel. I bet it rigged the election too. However, she was quite prescient envisioning the degenerate, looter, elite feeding off the few productive businesses left.
ps
I think the three part Atlas Shrugged movie is available on Amazon Prime.
Exactly as intended....

And the system ain’t gonna right itself
and from how they tell it---they're just getting started.
Ayn was so right about collectivism and society but so wrong about religion and God.
Nothing is ever quite as vivid when you've excluded God.
It's not failure. It's all being done by design.
Once that fact becomes accepted, the rest makes sense.
“Are Our Systems Failing?”
Does a bear defecate in the forest?
We are finished when there’s no one left to trust. We’re just about there.
Think of it as Cloward-Piven in action.
