Massachusetts Republican Party chairman Jim Lyons is not happy with his party’s incumbent governor Charlie Baker — who is also not happy with Lyons.
Baker told a reporter on Friday that Lyons should resign as Massachusetts Republican Party chairman — and Lyons wants Baker out of the party.
The latest turn in the frosty relationship between the party chairman and the governor stems from Lyons’s support for Boston city council candidate Donnie Palmer, ignoring racially insensitive social media posts that the candidate made about Boston mayoral candidate Michelle Wu; Palmer supports Annissa Essaibi George in the mayoral race.

In MA the primary is very late, in September, so all the party machinations happen at the convention.
Baker wants a third term, but without the Republican nomination, he's not getting one.
Jim’s response probably should have been: “Someone should resign, and that’s the current Governor”

Baker is an absolute piece of crap but Lyons is no prize as any kind of a conservative either.
A big part of their beef stems from a woman in Massachusetts comments that Pete buttigieg adopting two children sickened her. Baker thought the comments were offensive and Lyons agreed. So Lyons has no problem with Pete buttigieg and his sodomite anal sex partner adopting two little boys to play with and experiment on.

Unfortunately, all of this will be moot, because the supermajority of Massachusetts voters will end up voting for Democrats, during the November general election. Massachusetts is as Pro-Leftist as is possible. Getting rid of Governor Charlie Baker, no matter how bad of a RINO he, really, is, will, only, make everything much, much worse for all of Massachusetts! I, really, wish that this wasn’t the case.
