I did apply for a Religious Exemption, so I guess it all depends on how woke the HR personnel are - their decision is final, there is no explanation required or debate allowed.

The defense companies need US citizen Engineering, field support, and sales personnel with references and clearances; the latter aren’t easy or quick to obtain.
Can’t get just anyone.
Doctors and nurses have different requirements, advanced degrees and certifications, so there will be difficulty getting replacements there also.
