If you have a popular incumbent at the local level who provides excellent constituent services, and is seen everywhere in the community-going to boy scout pancake suppers, various church fund raisers and so forth then he or she will be re-elected time after time unless there is a complete blow out like 1964, 1974, 1980, and 1994.
Not necessarily. Maybe they’ll find *one* bad ballot voting for the GOP candidate, and the election will be voided.

McCauliffe will win, even if he doesn't. Democrats will not allow VA to slip away, and the GOP does not appear to care the slightest about election fraud (which the Democrats will employ to steal the governor's seat).
I think 38 should be 48 since they talk about a 3 seat difference.

I have never understood why the GOP does not care about election fraud. The presidental race of 1960 (Nixon did not want to fight). But more recent. Doran loss in California and even more recently Coleman’s loss to Franken when several days after the election a sack full of ballots-almost all for Franken were “found” in the back seat of a car owned by a Demorat hack.
