White House Taunts Texas and Florida for Fighting Vaccine Mandates: Joe Biden Will Override State Laws
Breitbart ^ | 10/12/21 | Charlie Spiering

The White House on Tuesday warned Republican governors of Texas and Florida that President Joe Biden would override their efforts to fight coronavirus vaccine mandates in their states.

“We know that federal law overrides state law,” she said referring to state attempts to ban vaccine passports.

She accused Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott of playing politics by issuing executive orders that fight vaccine passports.

“Why would you be taking steps that prevent the saving of lives that make it more difficult to save lives across the country or in any state?” she asked.

Psaki argued that the governors were “putting politics ahead of public health.”

“Every leader should be focused on supporting efforts to save lives and end the pandemic,” she said.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order Monday banning any entity in Texas from requiring vaccine mandates for their employees or their customers.

“In yet another instance of federal government overreach, the Biden Administration is now bullying many private entities into imposing COVID-19 vaccine mandates, causing workforce disruptions that threaten Texas’s continued recovery from the COVID-19 disaster,” Abbott wrote.

DeSantis signed legislation in May banning vaccine passports in Florida.

On Tuesday, he announced fines for Leon County for firing 14 employees after they refused to get the vaccine.

“We must protect the jobs of Floridians and preserve the ability of Floridians to make their own decisions regarding what shots to take,” he said.

Biden announced his intention in September to enact a new rule requiring all businesses over 100 employees to require their workers to get vaccinated for the coronavirus or lose their jobs.

10th Amendment.

There is a solid separation of powers argument to be made that the Biden regime is usurping power it is not Constitutionally allowed to claim.

Even the much touted Jacobson vrs Mass specifically refers to state legislative power.

I suspect that a 10th Amendment argument will be advanced by the challengers, yes, since such arguments have been in vogue in recent years. At the same time, the reviewing court will only reach the constitutional arguments if it should determine that the plain language of the OSH Act itself authorizes the TES itself. It is hardly clear that such is the case. It is possible that the TES will fail simply as a matter of statutory interpretation.

And that’s not likely to change absent a SCOTUS which would put patriotism above power.

No, it is not likely to change at all. The Justices of the SCOTUS get a federal paycheck just like the rest of them. They are part of "the system." And, regardless of ideological orientation, no federal judge is enamored with the concept of individual liberty. Rather, each accepts of his starting predicate the presumption of state power over the individual.

The "American experiment" has failed, if indeed there ever really was such a thing, as opposed to mere feel-good patriotic propaganda, meant to sucker the rubes that pay the freight. Fly a few Air National Guard jets over a NASCAR race track, wave Old Glory around, and a sufficient number of said rubes will believe that they live in a "free country." Lather, rinse, repeat.

"Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation."

"supersede anything the Texas governor (or Texas legislature) might do"

While the Texas governor's order may not stop entities from enforcing vaxx compliance, the Feds cannot stop Texas from levying fines and confiscating assets in violation of Texas law.

The cornpop moniker belonged to LBJ. His staffers called him that behind his back.

Of course, the idiot corpse made that ‘cornpop’ tale up specifically to look like a badass for the blacks. (Condescending racist freak)

That’s why sometimes I refer to the biden moron as cornpop.

Wake up, sheeple.

The 10th amendment would like a word.

So, the way I understand this it is just Biden having OSHA mandate these, which has not actually been done?

I missed the part in the Constitution that states that both state and federal legislative processes may be overridden by press releases. That's all we actually have in hand to discuss so far.

The nightmare scenario for the Dems is looming in 2022 - a simple statement by the new Speaker of the House that Congress will not fund the enforcement of any such diktat. They have to get this stuff in place pronto.

Those that died from Covid alone at 70k vs. 1.5 million from the vaccine.

Not so simple... I'd guess that many people who died from the vaccine also has co-morbidities --- there were reports about deaths in retirement homes.

But yes, it does seem that the vaccines are more dangerous than the virus.

“We know that federal law overrides state law,”

And federal laws are passed by Congress and signed by the President. They are not created by the D***head in the White House.

Also, recall that the Supreme Court as a matter of practice, tries to decide things as far "upstream" from the Constitution as possible; they appear to be acutely sensitive to the fact that a Constitutional declaration is binding and might have far-reaching implications down the road which they could not reasonably have foreseen.

If the Courts want to monkey with this, they will likely either rubber-stamp the ETS or reject it as "if it were really that bad you'd have done it a year ago".

I am not a lawyer, thank God.

Oh, so, now the data is accurate. But, the excuse is that it is outdated and the vaccine isn't as effective?

You're ridiculous. But, those that believe crazy conspiracies always are.

But, since you acknowledge the data can be trusted, I'll be sure to give you the latest update on how much more protection vaccinated people have than the unvaccinated.

If you can't refute facts, you have to come up lame excuse to ignore the facts.

Every study done by the CDC indicates that vaccinated are at less of risk of death than those that aren't.

Why, genius, do you Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis and Ted Cruz have all gotten the vaccine and encouraged others to? ANSWER THE QUESTION. Are all three conspiring with Big Pharma to commit vacocide/

Face it. You and other conspiracy crazies are full of sh#t.

There's a difference between your cherry-picking a window when jabs were just getting rolled out (April-June 2021), but before enough time for the associated deaths to be reported. And my link which was deaths from Jan of 2020 to October 2021.

You should have been banned long ago.

Cherry-picking = A point someone not so bright can't refute.

But, there are multiple studies from the CDC showing the unvaccinated are at much greater risk. Believe me, you'll be seeing them and you'll have to come up with some other lame excuse to reject them.

Do you 9/11 was an inside job?

Do you believe the Sandy Hook kids are alive and well in some remote location and getting their pictures taken and posted on the internet?

How often do you listen to Alex Jones radio or TV programss or frequent his websites?

“We know that federal law overrides state law,” she said referring to state attempts to ban vaccine passports.”

It doesn’t override orders from a dictatorship junta that took power by violence and fraud.
And it doesn’t override a Fort Sumter.

It’s time for these governors to flip the finger to the DC junta.
