It is not just nurses that are impacted...Lots of support staff, docs, etc.
I have family member who is a microbiologist in a lab...Will be let go in January in all likelihood :( No picnic at work right now...They have to test—until Jan 1. That is the deadline...Sadly their department is short staffed already!
I left my old lab for Tennessee. Took a significant paycut, but I am not being forced into medical treatment. As a leader I am not asking anyone else to do so… or else.
