Re: 31 - Thanks. Just ordered some to see how it goes. And yes, pretty pricey.
I’ve never had stomach bleeding (when I review the symptom list), but good information on this thread.
If I recall correctly, pepper is high in vitamin k.
Once again, the medical establishment (or part of it) does an about-face on a long-standing recommendation. But it’s absolutely prohibited to question these Covid vaccines!
Salt, coffee, ...
No experience with that stuff. My brilliant doc prescribes 8 or 10 nutritional supplements for me, which I take daily. He’s from Nigeria where med schools not funded by big Pharma and has ideas that match mine. He’s my partner in keeping me healthy, doesn’t expect to have to cure anything.
I’m 85, no health problems. He says I’ll live to be 100. Hope so, but need to get back to the gym. Muscular strength is the most accurate predictor of a long life. BTW, I’m a small female, not a big guy.
Go work out, my FRiend. Eat meat, fish, eggs, fruits, veggies. Everything in moderation. Forget wheat. Drink a daily glass of red wine for your health’s sake. Enjoy life.

Yes, the timing is suspicious. After years of recommending low-dose aspirin, they suddenly recommend against it just as we are hearing reports that it might help against Covid. That’s how it’s been throughout the epidemic - any readily-available treatment that shows promise against Covid suddenly becomes public enemy #1.
That didn’t take long. A day after it was reported that aspirin helps with Covid 19.
I’ve taken low dose aspirin at my cardiologist’s and PC physician’s advice now for ten years. It does make me a bit of a bleeder, any cut bleeds more than it would otherwise. But, I might not make it to 70 without it. For now, I will stay with daily aspirin.
I know, right? It’s almost comical at this point.
I just dont trust anything coming out of major media channels about health
blood thinners will be important for those that took the death shots
Eggs and milk in moderation good.
Aspirin sux.
Exactly.
I eat a bunch of eggs, raw whole milk once a month, Aspirin a couple times a week, salt on my eggs, and coffee daily.
Last blood panel was excellent.
Take educated guesses and adapt when data moves in the wrong direction...
It's going to take a generation or two to gain back trust, if it can be gained back at all.

If eggs were bad for you, I would be dead by now. I’m down to 2 dozen a week.
I take Aspirin a couple times a week, and only began in the last couple years. I’ll see how that goes.
“It’s going to take a generation or two to gain back trust, if it can be gained back at all.”
My trust, what little there was, in gone forever. I’m sticking with “Great Grandma’s recipes”, weightlifting/sports/walking, and plenty of sleep.
I eat eggs and don’t touch margarine.
If I am going to eat something, I want it to taste good. I use butter only.
Exactly, the authorities, the press and those behind this do not want it to go away and they want as many old conservatives to die as possible. This would have sounded absolutely insane even a year ago, but it is quickly getting to be obvious.
You’re probably fine with a couple of times a week. Wouldn’t worry about it.
My goodness, you do like those eggs. Must have chickens in the barn. Those are the best eggs. I pay extra to get pasture-raised eggs. Local stores are wising up, carry several brands. I found one from nearby farms, fresher one would think.
Weird how that works, isn’t it?
