Hey, she joined that fascist party. She knew what she was signing onto when she got her money, her power, her committee seats. All she had to do was vote according to the party line. She dared think for herself. That was her sin. And did she really think for herself or was she trying to save her rear end with her voters in the next election; afraid the party couldn’t rig enough votes to put her over again especially if Wendy Rogers was successful and got paper ballots and voter ID through the AZ legislature.
Seriously, what happened to Sinema was wrong. But my empathy for her dies pretty quickly all things considered.
I don’t think leftists realize how much power Sinema has right now. I hope they succeed in their attempt to pressure her and that she leaves the Democrat party and at least becomes an Independent who caucuses with Republicans, that way Schumer loses the Majority Leader spot. Democrats have been in power 8 months and 21 days and still won’t take responsibility for their own actions. I read an article over at CNSnews of the latest example, “McAuliffe Mentions Trump 18 times in 12-Minute CNN Interview”, so give that a look. Proving he is brilliant at real estate, Trump lives rent free in the space where leftist brains should be. Kyrsten could also switch to Republican but that is likely asking too much.
I was thinking similar. She has TRAINED for this run. They’ve likely not.
She just needs to switch to Independent and Caucus with Republicans to strip Schumer of his majority. She (or Manchin) have that much power right now. Either doing so give McConnell back control and makes Kamala meaningless, again.
I’m actually more impressed she’s running a marathon. She must be one of the more fit Senators we have, especially as most are over 100 years old.

Every minute these people are not in Washington DC screwing things up, the country is better off (and this goes for both parties).
I've read that she voted with Trump 50.4% of the time which makes her at least fractionally a better Republican than Democrat.
Sinema, however, is facing a re-election problem.
In one of the rarest occurrences in politics, we had a candidate who ran to the left and then came to the center after elected. Usually it's the opposite. Candidates run as centrists and then swing to the left (never to the right). As such, she's earned a great deal of enmity from her fellow Democrats and they intend to primary her. Arizona Republicans, on the other hand, like her a lot. Nonetheless, when it comes time to vote, they'll vote for whoever has an (R) after their name regardless of their fondness towards Sinema.
Sinema needs to consider this. She will almost certainly get primaried, and failing that, will almost certainly lose against her Republican opponent as pissed off Dem voters seek to punish her insolence.
It might be politically advantageous for her to, perhaps switch parties, or become an independent who caucuses with the GOP. At least we get a Senator that votes 50/50 on our side (and often when it counts).
Sure, she'd be a RINO, joining the ranks of Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. But the senate flips so there's that.
Plus, I'll give her credit where it's due. She is single-handedly obliterating Biden's agenda. If he can't get this done, and the Democrats lose the House next year, he's finished and will be remembered as the least consequential president in the past 100 years.

This is what we should be doing to the left....this is why the left wins- they treat politics like a blood sport- Republicans for the most part treat politics like it was a game of badminton with grandma in the backyard.

What the morons don’t realize is that they are playing right into her hands. They are very likely cementing her in office for years and years to come. She will go back to voters in Arizona who historically like politicians who are independent and tell them she is a Senator very much along the lines of McCain and Goldwater....that she thinks for herself and stands up to extremists even if they are on her side of the aisle. Zonies like that.
I think she’s pretty clever to stake out her position as being anything but a rubber stamp for Chuck Schumer. Even right leaning voters won’t be nearly as motivated to take her out....unlike gun grabbing China sellout Mark Kelly who they will really concentrate their fire on.
Liberals are extremely tolerant of people they agree with.

Agree. Sinema doesn’t mind the crazies because it just makes her look like a (fake) moderate. Like another fake moderate in the Senate, Manchin, she will deliver the votes when required.
So, the Senator is going to run in the Boston Marathon. Let her critics line the streets (there won’t be too many since the route is 26 miles long).
People still remember the Boston Bombing a few years ago. Security will be tight. It will get very messy very quickly if anyone tries to attack the Senator while she is running.
