Antarctica's last 6 months were the coldest on record

In a year of extreme heat, Antarctica's last six months were the coldest on record.

"For the polar darkness period, from April through September, the average temperature was -60.9 degrees Celsius, a record for those months," the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) said.

The last six months is also the darkest period at the South Pole, which is where the name polar darkness (also called polar night) comes from. Here, the sun sets for the last time around the spring equinox, and does not rise again until near the autumn equinox six months later.

For the entire Antarctic continent, the winter of 2021 was the second-coldest on record, with the "temperature for June, July, and August 3.4 degrees Celsius lower than the 1981 to 2010 average at -62.9 degrees Celsius," according to a new report from the NSIDC.

This is the second-coldest winter (June-July-August months) on record, behind only 2004 in the 60-year weather record at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station," the NSIDC said.

As a life long NYer I can back your observations. I work outside and temps are easily lower on average. And I’m a person who absolutely hates summer. On top of that the ATLAS Copco air compressor I use often over heats and shuts down on over 95 degree days. It went into auto shutdown every summer since I got it in 2011. It hasn’t shut down once in the last three years

Ot to worry, just like they did when temp recordings showed no I crease in temperatures for 2 decades nearly, they will “adjust the faulty temperature readers” and viola, there’s you temp increases. Nasa claimed that one of their satellites was ‘positioned incorrectly ‘ when the data didn’t show the “correct rise in temperatures”, so they readjusted the results based on what they thought the Temps “should have been”, and lo and behold, there was the temperature increases.

They are all liars and deceitful charlatans (they also had temp recorders on rooftops near air conditioners, and placed over tarred lots to,x,so, the overall temp of the earth)

I just read Ian Plimer's "Heaven and Earth" and was surprised to read the data fraud that is committed with measuring CO2 in the atmosphere. A chemical method had been used for 150 years and this method showed that the carbon dioxide concentration varied by year and time of year, both rising and falling.

This method was replaced by an infrared radiation method at the Mauna Loa observatory that not only has its own inaccuracies and issues but the data is 'adjusted' constantly, adjustment meaning it doesn't fit the narrative.

The fraud is all-pervasive from the climate 'scientists' who feed at the public trough and the government-run organizations. Do a web search (not Google) on falling sea level, another example of reality vs. the narrative.

Years ago I thought there was some hope of fighting the lie, but I learned that there really isn’t. Maybe it’s just me, but even here in Scottsdale/Phoenix it seemed like a significantly milder summer - And we finally got some decent RAIN!

I’m sure I’ll read how 2021 was the “Hottest Summer on Record” somewhere - but you couldn’t convince me of that.
