This action seems to be one of two things:

1. The Air Traffic Controllers are legitimately mad at Biden's vaccine mandates.

2. Or Biden and his cronies are intent on making life as miserable as possible for Floridians and Governor DeSantis who are against vaccine mandates.

Also heard Southwest Airlines is having a difficult time. 800 flight cancellations Saturday, and more than 1000 cancellations already today. The airline is blaming weather and an air traffic control issue from Friday for the domino effect of cancellations.

Cry me a river. I mean, a lot of us have been inconvenienced. And this is the kind of push-back that needs to happen. There are only so many National Guard employees who can do only so many jobs.
Also, the airline employees at Southwest (for example) should be thanking them, and encouraging other AT controllers to do the same.

The rumor that all flights in/out of Florida have been cancelled as result of Air Traffic Controllers not showing up for work is just that a rumor, it’s not even remotely true...

I monitor air traffic with a Raspberry PI and Flightaware Software and it’s a normal traffic day right now and was yesterday as well....

Some flights might have been cancelled but traffic is still flying...
