This investigation goes off into various directions. The party (not Kurz himself) is accused of paying some polling group to ‘fudge’ the numbers. If you really dig into this....the various other parties all do the same trick.
But then the accusation goes to suggest that gov’t money was invested into this polling business in some way. Typically (at least in Europe)....it’s newspapers or TV news groups that pay for a great number of the polls. I doubt if this accusation can be proven.
The accusations also suggest reporters were paid some cash (by someone) to write favorable slants. In this case, no idiot is going to transfer cash around (this would have been a cash situation). Digging up this evidence will be next to impossible.
So all they achieve is getting Kurz to take a 2-year vacation, writing some books and returning by the time of the next election.
Just to end my observations over this....Austria is one of those countries where they erupt with a major scandal about every three years. The scandals tend to always end as a one-star minor event.
Dems are trying to bribe population with 5 trillions of printed money.
They don’t have to, the presstitudes do it for free because they are bankrolling them. Otherwise, many of them would be unemployed, at least in the field of journalism. What I am saying is they are paying them, but not just for polls, as they are included as part of the payment for always siding with them and taking their causes as important must do policies.
