Plain ole RanchStyle pintos went up 11 centavos overnight last couple of days.
Found corn for .63 a can......weird to me anyways.

we here are not getting any help from the govt....we missed out on the last stimulus...we get no free food or bus rides or break on our property taxes....
we're losing the battle.....but that's what they want right?

We were at the fall festival in Green Bluff, WA last weekend and apple cider was also $10 per gallon.

And it’s getting harder to find cans that don’t have the pull tab.

True that !
I have found that many times a grocery store will have their own store right next to the more well known nationally advertised brand .
The commercially known brand has the convenience 'pull tab', whereas the store brand (made by the same company) will not have the 'pull tab'.
The store brand is generally cheaper since there are no advertizing costs to the store brand.

Yes, I have been buying store brands for years due to this. Unfortunately, some of the store brands are now doing the same—ugh. Thank goodness I know how to can food, and have good dehydrator along with jars, desiccant, and oxygen absorbers.
I've been buying the Pictsweet frozen soup veggies from our local Walmart-non GMO verified, dehydrating them, and vacuum sealing in canning jars or Mylar bags.
