California makes ethnic studies a high school requirement

Along with English, science, math and other graduation requirements, California high school students will have to take a course in ethnic studies to get a diploma starting in 2029-30.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill Friday that makes California among the first in the nation to list ethnic studies as a graduation requirement for all public high school students.

The model curriculum focuses on four historically marginalized groups that are central to college-level ethnic studies: African Americans, Chicanos and other Latinos, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and Native Americans. It also includes lesson plans on Jews, Arab Americans, Sikh Americans and Armenian Americans who are not traditionally part of an ethnic studies curriculum

It seems that one ethnic group has been left out of all of this.

I’ll bet most California public high-schoolers have never read a real book, can’t answer the most basic math or history questions, or tell you what continents contain Argentina or France.

But, they can ace questions on gender fluidity, and critical race theory, so life will be a breeze for them.

Just like all the other groups they are identifying, this will be a good opportunity for them to catch up on real history that can be noted with a little research to display the lies. The when these special ethnic groups start finding out how they have been used like a bad hoe, thing might get out in the open. But it is going to take leadership of the GOP to accomplish this just by getting their hands on a textbook and just doing the research through the library of congress. But will they?
