If you consider 6’ broken pieces of metal “runway mat” or strands of barbed wire to be a “border wall,” well, 52 miles of “new” border wall might very well be accurate when miles and miles of decaying crap was there and needed to be replaced in high traffic areas.
I personally went to see the wall in March and April.
In early April I rode my dual sport motorcycle at the base of the wall from Columbus NM to El Paso TX.
The 65 miles east of Columbus to the next border crossing has previous ‘barrier’... if you want to call a fallen down 3 strand barb wire fence as a barrier.
There was 40 miles of new 30’ wall, fallowed by 20 miles of new 20’ wall and finally there was 5 miles of existing 20’ wall of very poor quality.
Is suspect much of the other existing ‘barrier’ was much the same.
Thank goodness there isn’t a border surge crisis or that would be a dangerous policy.

Because of the bogus repeated lie about "whips" being used on Haitian illegals, I thought they cannot ride horses. So these cowboys can walk to the border on foot.
I’m not talking about the border patrol riding horses. I am saying private citizens should. And in Texas we can open carry as well!
