President Biden went back to his fake White House set as the backdrop for his reaction to the disappointing September jobs report Friday, days after the mock-up was widely panned on social media.
Despite the White House offering several venues fit for presidential remarks — including the Oval Office, the East Room, the State Dining Room and even the Brady Press Briefing Room — the administration has increasingly opted to use the model set up in the South Court Auditorium of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, across from the executive mansion itself.

Someone on Fox said he uses the fake set because the layout of the real locations make it difficult for him to use the kind of teleprompting equipment that he heavily relies on to utter a coherent thought.
Just pretend bad news doesn’t exist.
That way there’s no reason to offer a solution or change policy.
An “it’s only a flesh wound” administration.
And the lefties all nod along.....

Stephen Miller, a former senior adviser of President Donald Trump, claimed Biden only used the imitation White House set so he could read a script directly from a face-on monitor.
“The reason Biden uses this bizarre virtual set for televised meetings — and not an actual room like East Room, Cabinet, Oval, Roosevelt, Sit Room, etc. — is because it allows him to read a script directly from a face-on monitor (& w/out teleprompter glass that can be seen on camera),” he tweeted.
I think it’s a big deal. How do you think a cheesy, fake “movie set” plays with other countries? Are we the people who pay for the WH not entitled to a real POTUS addressing the American people in the sanctity of the house many have died for? It’s absurd.
One can only wonder what was built into the set and hidden. Havanah Syndrome device for Peter?
Maybe they’re scared that his Depends will leak onto the office carpet?
