(CNN)A federal judge in Texas issued an order Wednesday blocking the state's six-week abortion ban. US District Judge Robert Pitman's order is a victory for abortion rights proponents, who had seen other attempts to block the law stymied by the ban's novel design. It may, however, be only a temporary victory. At a hearing Friday, a lawyer from the Texas attorney general's office made clear that the state would appeal such an order to the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals if it were granted.
That appeals court -- perhaps the most conservative in the country -- previously rejected a request from clinics that it block the law, as did the US Supreme Court.

BUT, BUT:
Texas Supreme Court Refuses Planned Parenthood’s Demand to Block Texas Abortion Ban
The billion-dollar abortion chain Planned Parenthood just lost another attempt to block the Texas heartbeat law in court, meaning babies will continue to be saved from abortion violence.
On Monday, the Texas Supreme Court refused the abortion chain’s request to allow its lawsuit to proceed, the Texas Tribune reports.
Texas Right to Life, one of the parties named in the lawsuit, celebrated the ruling.
“We are thankful that Planned Parenthood’s attempt to shortcut the normal process of litigation was again denied,” said Kimberlyn Schwartz, media and communication director for the pro-life organization.

Yes, but the “my body, my choice” mantra is also completely irrelevant now (as it has always been, but few really noticed). You see, in the shadow of the CCP virus, during which those opposed to the “vaccine” (really an immune booster, but that’s a different topic) used that line from the pro-abortion types...and were roundly told to forget about it, that didn’t apply - even though it LITERALLY is one’s own body that was/is required by employers or the government to be jabbed). So if it doesn’t apply to being able to prevent a medication from being injected into your own body against your will, then how could it apply to a fetus/baby of which only HALF of the DNA belongs to the mother? It really isn’t - and NEVER has been - “my” body; it is the body of a new being, to which the mother did, indeed, contribute half of the DNA (that part is, arguably, her body) - but the remaining half is someone else’s DNA (the father, obviously), not the mother’s, and the combination of those 2 DNA contributions makes for a third person. It (or he/she) is manifestly NOT the mother’s body, so Mama cannot make that argument.

Anyone find the flaw in the judge issuing the ruling?

Why bother obeying it? County election officials can shrug off subpoenas, why should the abortion industry obey a judge order?

US District Judge Pitman. Post his phone number here so we may politely inform him of his disqualifying qualifications.

Funny...women have always had a say in what I can,and cannot,do with *my* reproductive organs...and I accept that. And I,OTOH,should have a say in what women do with theirs.
