A report from the New York Times indicates that gun dealers in Afghanistan are selling U.S. pistols, rifles, and other weapons in their stores.

According to the Times, the items being sold also include equipment like “binoculars and night-vision goggles.”

The weapons and equipment were “originally provided to the Afghan security forces under a U.S. training and assistance program that cost American taxpayers more than $83 billion through two decades of war.” The Taliban actively sought out the U.S. weapons and equipment, for war-fighting, only to sell it “to Afghan entrepreneurs because Taliban demand has eased with the end of combat.”

Deer season opens Nov. 1 in Afghanistan.

There's a two week IED season preceding.

Good thing they’re being sold in Gun Shops... the Taliban will never pass the 4473 check.

What a waste! They could have been sold here in Army surplus stores to recoup some of the costs! :)

Deer season opens Nov. 1 in Afghanistan.

Game animals in Afghanistan turned up-------- the snow leopard, Marco Polo sheep, Siberian musk deer, markhor, urial, the Asiatic black bear, the ibex, the gray wolf, the brown bear, striped hyenas, and numerous bird of prey species.

I think Kabul Outdoorsman and the new hybrid one combining hunting for infidels with hunting wild game now known as Field and Scream have had articles on ibex and striped hyenas.

Sounds like Wisconsin and Michigan to me.

“Traitor Joe’s Military Surplus Store”

Said in jest, but I cannot help but wonder.................,
Depreciate $83 Billion by 50% gives a nice total of $41.5 Billion.
Finders fee of 10% to some “unknown” arms merchant gives you $4,150,000,000.00. 5% of that to the Biden empire is over $200 million. Now add, subtract, divide or multiply these numbers with any middlemen you want and it is still huge.
Nations, including this one have been sold out for a lot less.

Anybody who buys a weapon in Afghanistan, will then be hunted down by the Taliban, and hung for criminal activity. Win/win for the Taliban.

I took a day trip to Nogales, Mexico as a kid in the ‘80s. I was blown away by a liquor/convenience store that was selling leather bull whips, bricks of fire crackers and old pistols without their grips. What a one stop combo shop that was.
