This is a foolish proposition.

The only precept that allowed us to have both prosperity and freedom was following the commandment to love thy neighbor.

You are right, which means belief in 10 Commandments and respect for/practicing traditional Judeo-Christian faiths was an essential element to reinforce the precept.

And within that love of neighbor:

Not to bear false witness;

Not to steal;

Not to covet thy neighbor’s goods.
