Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday praised former Vice President Mike Pence for seeking to downplay the magnitude of the Jan. 6 Capitol riots as a House select committee investigating the insurrection ramps up its activity.
Trump embraced his former vice president after Pence went on Fox News on Monday night to attack the Biden administration and was asked by Sean Hannity about his relationship with Trump.
"I can tell you that we parted amicably at the end of the administration, and we've talked a number of times since we both left office," Pence said, arguing the focus should be on the future.

Pence certified results he knew to be fraudulent - period. I understand the reasoning of “Well, nothing would happen anyway” but I disagree with it.
I don’t care what terms Trump/Pence are on. I will never trust Pence again.
Based on Pence’s behavior during the end of 2020 and since I’ll go with Pence trying to save his career by not upsetting millions of Trump supporters.
I think he was in cahoots with Nikki Haley and others to take over MAGA people but they all found out we’re not as stupid as they thought.
Seems praise doesn’t mean what it used to.
