A huge infusion of money for people living with HIV was announced today by the Department of Health and Human Services as part of its funding for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program.
HHS will disburse $2.21 billion to cities, counties, states, and local community-based organizations in 2021; the money will fund treatment and services for hundreds of thousands of people. The 30-year-old Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program pays for HIV services for low-income Americans — or about half of all people diagnosed with HIV in the nation.
“For more than three decades, HHS has driven federal efforts to end the HIV epidemic in our country and improve health outcomes for people with HIV," HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra said in a statement. "These funds support viral suppression that saves lives, reduces health disparities, and slows the spread of HIV. We will continue to support the Biden-Harris Administration’s goal of ending the HIV epidemic in the United States.”

Makes my blood boil! I know some vets who have been fighting their whole lives post Vietnam to get anything for Agent Orange. They are on the lower rung below HIV and illegals. America has died.

Wrong!!! Many of the “community based organizations” double as an industry of worker-activists for their “non-profit” jobs. The money could be cut in half or two thirds if it went directly to HIV medically-suffering individuals applying through city and county government offices based on transparent strict qualification standards, including income thresholds.

And they know far more about how to spread, or how to stop HIV/AIDS than most are aware.
The money often originated with DOD, went through something like DTRA, or NIAID, and Fauci was the distribution decision maker.
Some of the money went directly to foreign R&D in the CIS and China (which in 2010-2011 entered into the strongest joint defense and economic agreement since Moscow stood up Mao in 1919 and 1921), and some went through organizations like Paris based Pasteur Institutes around the world.
They study much more, but pertaining to our current situation, Pasteur Institute has P4 labs in Tehran (notably performing heavy research into MERS/HIV), Wuhan (studying SARS/HIV), and Milan interacting with all the above. “Vector” (Novosebirsk, Siberia) is of course not part of Pasteur, but has had strong Fauci funds distribution and interaction, as well as with with Tehran, Wuhan, Havana, Lima, and several labs across the US, including Ft. Detrick.

I had an email subscription to HIVplus and read there that HIV infection causes its infected to biologically age 14 years, which is why they get so many diseases: dementia, cancers, kidney disease, et al. I have been searching for updates since then, but could never find more info. Then I read an article that said medicine is ignoring this HIV problem. This problem is why HIV infected can never donate blood. One other thing - I assume it kills infected 14 years early. Spend half the money on an HIV-positive abstinence promotion program, whether or not the “gay” “community” likes the idea and in time it would likely be more effective than anything else. Such a program would also encourage voluntary regular HIV testing for “gay” men promiscuously sexually active, and a positive test then engendering abstinence to end further spread from the HIV-positive individuals. THAT would require a whole moral change within the “gay” sexually active community.
There was a time when syphilis had so many infected persons that it was common in many places that persons getting a marriage license also got blood tests to see if they already had syphilis and didn’t know it. Why - if the goal is to “eliminate” HIV - that such HIV blood testing is not de rigueur among “gay” men? And why is that not a primary “public health” objective?
If a person died of AIDS, the CDC went to great lengths to say that the person died of pneumonia, or cardiac arrest, or carcinosarcoma, but NEVER of AIDS. Because they didn’t want to stigmatize it.
But if a person dies of cardiac arrest or pneunomia or cancer or rheumatoid arthritis or a car crash and also has COVID, the death is classified as COVID.

I’m an old coot now, but I started smoking when I was thirteen years old, because it made me look like one of the cool kids, made me look older, made me look like a movie star———— so I now have COPD and a much diminished old age. About the time I started trying to quit, my state, PA, sued the tobacco companies for billions of dollars, to, you know-—compensate for all the lying they did for all those years, and to take care of all the poor addicts. I haven’t seen a cent of that settlement, yet,-——— do you guys have my share? Why am I responsible for queer sex habits?
Hm. So HIV/AIDS is treated as a disease that needs to be funded/treated, even though it is contracted by perverted sexual contact. COVID? If you are unvaxxed (as I am due to a plethora of COVID antibodies running around inside of me), you are anathema to the vaxxed and society in general.
