What a jackass.
Scum bag, Democrat - that's a distinction without a difference...
For the Left, the First Amendment is all about “Freedom FROM religion”. It’s really very un-American. The government should not force a religion on everyone, but neither should be crush religion and force Atheism on everyone. A desire for a religious exemption should be taken seriously and not dismissed.
Connecticut state employees, your boss has utter contempt for you.
There is a level of sleaze on this earth that is so loathsome and hard to achieve that only the very worst humans manage to achieve it.
We call them Democrats.
Long past time to joke about it.
When one has a cancer, it must be exterminated.
The contempt these politicians have for the voters is simply amazing.
On a side note, it still irks me that the only exemptions granted are for “religious” reasons. What about science-based reasons, as in, I don’t want to take the shot because 1) it’s not safe and 2) it’s not effective!
Just lie and say it’s for religious reasons.
There’s nothing immoral about lying to tyrants…
Catholics, the Gov of CT has contempt for your faith
Seems to me that his comments would be material in religious exemptions that are denied, as his potential animus toward those seeking religious exemptions may be communicated down through his subordinates and could be seen as an attempt to adversely influence such exemptions.
Yup. Guessing “Because I simply don’t want it!” isn’t good enough then.
Actually, on my religious exemption form I told them that I had religious, scientific, and political reasons for not taking it, and that I didn’t need to explain myself any further. I got the exemption.
The religious exemption is illusory. It is like a unicorn. It exists on paper but does not exist in reality.
See too, "government of the people, by the people, and for the people." That perished.
Nice. I’m guessing it’s quite specific to the company one works for. Some are very pro-vaccine, and many are probably afraid to do nothing.
Exactly. Is ANYONE actually granted a religious exemption?
I think it’s probably highly company specific. If they’re really pro-vaccine, one will be denied. If they really don’t want any part of it, they issue exemptions to anyone asking. I guess we’ll see how it all plays out.
We know where POTUS Thorazine stands on the issue.
A Democratic politician is a pfacist scum—surprise, surprise, surprise!
(This post was made from enemy-occupied CT.)
Their perks and pensions are draining the life-blood out of Konnecticut's middle-class.
They should quit their cushy jobs and seek employment in the private sector and battle it out like the rest of us....
No doubt that's true. I'm sure some companies are run by people who don't kow-tow to every demand of the nanny-state.
But if push comes to shove and the test is in court, the so-called "exemption" is narrow to the point of being an illusion.
I have as much faith in our courts as I do in Mitt Romney.
